Bosch powered Scott at a great price
The Scott Sub Cross 20 Lady is comfortable and practical and great for tracks, trails and forest paths as well as roads and smooth routes. The lower crossbar will suit those wanting an easier mount/dismount. It comes with a Bosch Activeline motor and a 400Wh PowerTube battery.
The Bosch PowerTube is the latest development into battery integration, entirely hiding the battery within the frame of the bike. It makes for clean lines, and hence is much less obviously an electric bike. Weighing in at just 2.8kg it is one of the lightest batteries on the market, further reducing its impact on the overall feel of the bike. Despite it’s modest design, it still packs impressive capacity – the 400Wh will give you a around 40 miles. The battery is easy to remove for charging off the bike.
Bosch Active Line
The Scott Sub Cross 20 Lady has the Bosch ActiveLine motor. For those that don’t need the mountain-climbing power of the more powerful Bosch motors, the ActiveLine provides supremely smooth assistance at an affordable price. When the motor is not being used the chainring is completely detached from the motor so you can cycle the bike as a normal bike.
Suspension is provided by Suntour SF14-NEX-E25 front forks. The BR-M200 Shimano Hydraulic disc brakes provide safe, predictable and powerful stopping ability.
The wide Kenda Booster 29×2.20 tyres give excellent grip on tracks and trails as well as being comfortable on the road. Gears are 9-speed Shimano Acera. The saddle is comfortable and there is also an adjustable handlebar stem that helps to get your riding position just right.
This is a stylish, great-performing ebike, but at a really good price. We have this model in small, which is perfect for the smaller rider.
